Additional Comments

The Earth continues to be connected to the fast solar wind from a large coronal hole in the southern hemisphere. This is likely to continue throughout the forecast period. The northern extent of the coronal hole is variable, fluctuating the strength of the solar wind effects. Generally QUIET geomagnetic conditions are expected with a chance of some ACTIVE spells.
There remains an outside chance of a glancing blow from a coronal mass ejection during the first forecast period although confidence is low.
